A 6-year study program:
All the classes are held in English. The program includes pre-clinical studies lasting 3 years and clinical studies that also last 3 years. After passing the licensing exams will grant the degree
“Doctor of medicine”
Students who study at the 6-year program begin their preparation to USMLE Step 1 at the beginning of their fourth year of studies.
Students who study at the 6-year program begin their preparation to USMLE Step 2 CK at the beginning of their sixth year of studies.
The program is based on up-to-date content in Israel and the United States, up-to-date literature and using the most advanced technologies to impart knowledge and skills to an Israeli student. All in order to provide all necessary tools for a student who will become a doctor.
The registration of a new applicants to the 2020 year:
*6-year program with preparatory course, until 15.04.2021
*6-year program without preparatory course, until 01.07.2021
A 4-year program:
4 year program is suitable for students with a completed academic degree from universities that recognized by Wdoms.org (World direct of Medical Schools). Within the medical / paramedical faculties, also the faculty of biological Sciences.
Preparatory training for 6 months is a prerequisite for admission to the program. Training takes place in BSMU. During the preparatory training – filling gaps in all basic disciplines, in accordance with the requirements of USA, Israel and Belarus. Upon completion of the preparatory training, the student is enrolled in the 1st year of 4 year program, at the University.
After passing the licensing exams will grant the degree
“Doctor of medicine”
Students who study at the 4-year program begin their preparation to USMLE Step 1 at the beginning of their second year of studies.
Students who study at the 4-year program begin their preparation to USMLE Step 2 CK at the beginning of their fourth year of studies.
The registration of a new applicants to the 2021 year:
*4-year program with preparatory course, until 10.10.2021

The project arises from the deep, first hand understanding of the needs and difficulties of an Israeli medical student. Personal encounter with daily student difficulties provides thorough attention to every detail of students’ academic and everyday life and ensures clear vision on how medical education should be conducted. Our community is dedicated to give the best education for the next generations of young doctors by providing academic, professional, research, personal and social support. The classes are held by PhDs and MDs of over than 72 university departments, students have access to 42 clinical bases.
Belarusian State Medical University MD programs are approved by State of Israel Ministry of Health.
BSMU is an Associate Member of the International Association of University Alumni, the International Association of Higher Medical Education Graduates, the Association of Medical Schools of Europe (AMSE); it works in collaboration with WHO, the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA), participates in numerous international research programs and projects (TEMPUS, TASIS and others).
BSMU is in the process of accreditation by WFME.
